Pernod Ricard is a French company that produces alcoholic beverages. All leading hard liquor brands in India are being produced by Pernod Ricard.
Entire 60KLD distillery main plant was awarded to Tomsa Destil (Madrid Spain)
L&T supplied balance of plant activities
Salt provided structural design services for entire project including Fermentation, Distillation, evaporation, Dryer, storage etc. sections
Entire plant structural members were hot dip galvanized before erecting on site.
Hence no welding allowed on site entire project has 100% bolted connections
All reactor columns were having heavy loads. All main process equipment were in either stainless steel or copper.
This was complex and challenging project in terms of connections, multiple materials and their stability.
As no site modifications in terms of cutting and welding were allowed entire success of the project was depending on accuracy of structural drawings.
